Saturday January 28th 2012: met Dave Bennett re. Resistance walks and had a trial walk in the Olchon Valley with him.

Nic Howes: Hi. I'm Nic Howes and I'm a Geographer who walks through landscapes and interprets what is encountered. Some of my walks are solitary, some are with friends and groups of students and others are guided walks for adults. The latter include guided walks for the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty www.wyevalleyaonb.org.uk and the Herefordshire Walking Festival www.walkingfestival.com . I am registered with http://www.mountain-training.org as Mountain Leader (Summer) no. 34691. I am an accredited Duke of Edinburgh Award Assessor at all levels, no. CE18254A. I am insured as a "Tour Guide" and have a current Emergency First Aid certificate. This blog is intended to give a series of snapshots of what I do, by outlining some of my walks.
