26th to 28th October 2013: DofE Silver Award Qualifying Expedition for 5 ex Bishop's school students

The culmination of a busy month of walking activity. Weather forecast was worryingly windy and rainy but in the end we avoided most of both, which passed further south. Mal Mason and I were supervising and Dick Hughes was assessing. Good company all round, students did well in difficult conditions (right at the end of the Expedition season) and some good walking, including this view east towards the Longmynd from "The Rock" on the southern Stiperstones.
