What a good time we had! Richard and Steve took us over from Hebden Bridge to this lovely pub (owned by HM apparently) beside the River Hodder, overlooking the Forest of Bowland. We had a beautiful circular walk (recommended by the pub) and saw a wide variety of wildlife including oystercatchers, lapwings, dipper, swifts, swallows, house martins, sand martins, chaffinch, bullfinch, goldfinch, greenfinch, curlew ... and a hare!
