Tune for the Blood walk: Saturday June 2nd, 2012

Anne Cottringer and I greatly enjoyed this walk with the four interesting and interested people who turned out in the mist at The Bull's Head at 10.00. Anne is the director of the documentary film Tune for the Blood, which shows the lives of Young Farmers working in the beautiful landscape of Herefordshire. The walk was organised by me and Anne as part of the Hay Festival, at which the film was screened (see link). We were back at the pub just after 13.00 to warm up and dry out by their wood burner. On the way we saw a bull at Abbey Farm and later met Graham Richards (a Young Farmer who is one of the eight featured in the film); he and his parents were repairing a high level track to improve access to a Young Farmers' Jubilee beacon they were due to light the following Monday night.
